Expedition the men and the sea.
CHALLENGE: Palemon was recognized by Mexico’s Institute of Oceanography and granted an award for his participation in the five month sailing expedition called “El Hombre & la Mar” (The Man & The Ocean) From Mexico all the way to Spain. Survival equipment designed by Palemon Camu was tested during this endeavor. In 1977, the 14th century designed Vessel and the survival equipment were inducted in the museum of La Magdalena in Spain.
